  • Easily 1,000 geese in this photo, and this is just a fraction of the sky when they got up. Anyone want to count them?

  • These are my first eagle fishing photos. They are cropped heavily because they are far away but wanted to share them anyway. You can see the fish in the water in front of him/her.
  • We were lucky enough to find this eagle fishing in a very shallow lake. Like the reflection here above the Bufflehead.
  • On our way to another location I saw this rooster in the tall grass.
  • That stare, unlike any other in the world! We didn't stay long but long enough to get a couple photos!
  • The eagles seemed very tolerable to our presence as there were 4 wheelers buzzing around across the river too.
  • I have found 18 active nests in SW Minnesota in the last few years.
  • The nests were within 50 yards of each other and there were adult eagles flying everywhere.
  • We went to the Minnesota river valley today near Skalbekken County Park and found 2 new active Bald Eagle nests.
